WELCOME TO P.E.N.A.-WEST NEIGHBORHOOD ASSOCIATION! 

Prestonwood Estates is a lovely neighborhood in far north Dallas. The Prestonwood Estates Neighborhood Association - West (PENA-West) is composed of the area of this neighborhood bordered on the north by La Cosa, on the east by Hillcrest, on the south by Beltline, and on the west by Meadowcreek. The neighborhood is conveniently located for access to suburban commerce in Addison, Richardson, and Plano as well as north Dallas.

The school district is the Richardson Independent School District or the Dallas Independent School District, depending on the location of the home.

Although the Neighborhood Association has only been in existence since 1999, it is quite active and has a high percentage of participation with a membership of 242 households out of 316 homes in the neighborhood. Activities include a Crime Prevention Program, 4^th of July parade, Holiday Decorating Contest during the holidays, Annual Social, National Town Watch Night Out block parties, an annual Crime Watch meeting and a Neighborhood Play Group for Families with Pre-School Children. We also publish a quarterly newsletter, Prestonwood Press, with lots of interesting information and notices of events for the neighborhood.
