What is ABOUTMYHOA.com ... ?

A web site designed to allow Homeowner and Neighborhood Associations to communicate with their members.  In addition, the site allows cities to quickly alert citizens to important notices.  The site replaces the need to publish telephone directories or newsletters.  All contact can be done on the site using easy templates.  It takes only a few minutes to set up your Association web.  You can simply attach all set up information to an e-mail or simply mail the necessary opening information and ABOUTMYHOA.com will scan into your site.  You can tap into information from other Associations, explore their Deed Restrictions, By-laws and many other documents.  There is also an area for new projects, prior to the formation of Associations, allowing these developing neighborhoods to start their internal communications.

What is the cost to my Association ?

The service is FREE to the Association.  ABOUTMYHOA.com offers sponsorships to companies interested in supporting and communicating with association members. You will also find other links on the site that are referred to as "affiliates".

I don't know anything about building web sites, is this hard ... ?

ABOUTMYHOA.com accepts all information via e-mail attachment, or many new members elect to  send a floppy disk with the available information and some even simply mail their material and the information is scanned into your site.

Informing member of the site ?

First the Association should do a mail out to its members announcing the new service with instructions to go to  ABOUTMYHOA.com and register. A very important aspect of the success of the site is the uploading of names and addresses of your members. ABOUTMYHOA.com will do a follow up mailing as well.  The goal is to obtain everyone's name, address, telephone number AND e-mail address.  AboutMyHOA.com must have at minimum all addresses of the members, these members receive a mail invitation to introduce the site and obtain e-mail addresses.
