From the desk of

                 Scott Bradburn, Keller Police Dept.

Good day, Keller!

Here are two city ordinance codes which may be of some interest, especially
during the summer months.

Sec. 18-320. Parking on Public streets

(a). No trailers, boats, personal water craft, motor homes, house trailers,
and any vehicles exceeding a gross weight of eighty-five hundred (8,500)
pounds shall be parked unoccupied on public streets; provided, however, this
section shall not apply to emergency vehicles operating in response to
emergency calls nor to vehicles operated by a public utility in the
performance of inspection or maintenance function.

(b). It is a defense to prosecute under this section if the vehicle is
parked as a result of:

(1). Vehicle breakdown or malfunction and the vehicle will be removed within
forty-eight (48) hours; or
(2). Vehicle was parked as a temporary residence for house guest not
exceeding seventy-two (72) hours.

Construction:

Times of construction are:

Monday through Friday (6AM-7PM)
Saturday (8AM-6PM)
Sunday (8AM-6PM)

Please note: In times of urgency, a building permit can be obtained through
the building official.

Seatbelts:

The police are still out enforcing the seatbelt laws. Please remember to
buckle yourself up, as well as your kids.

Thank you,

Scott Bradburn
