Here TNA president Frank Hulsey distributed a "State of the Neighborhood" address on Saturday, August 16. Each Tara homeowner should have received a copy in the mailbox. The message may be viewed by clicking here. TNA has compiled a list of some of the more pressing repair and maintenance issues facing Tara. Funds are limited, so we need input from members to help us prioritize the work. To see the list (updated on Sept. 8), click here. On September 6, TNA volunteers completed repairs to the log fence along the trail on Cheek Sparger Rd. New posts and rails were installed near Copperwood Ct. We also straightened posts and reinforced the postholes with concrete near Ashley Ct. The new fencing was stained to match the existing fence. We now have a small inventory of spare rails and posts for future repairs. Volunteers have completed repairs on the Tara Drive entry lights and the lights along the drainage channel. All bulbs were replaced and circuit breakers and timers were reset. We have also installed locks on the timers to prevent tampering. |
