Any person that holds legal title to, or is renting or residing in, any residential property in Tara Plantation is eligible for membership.  Unlike many recently incorporated neighborhood associations, membership in the Tara Neighborhood Association is voluntary.  That is, there is no deed restriction that allows a lien to be place against Tara property when dues are not paid.

Dues are paid on an annual basis.  The TNA fiscal year runs from April 1 of the current year to March 31 of the following year. The current annual dues are $300.00.  Dues can be paid in a lump sum or in installments.

Although membership is voluntary, a majority of the residents of Tara have always supported TNA.  Members of the TNA board must be "members in good standing" of TNA.
